The Medusa

Do we see nature for what it really is? Or do we create a certain vision in our mind on what we think it should look like? Once we create such a vision, so pristine in thought, are we allowed to look at it? Or is it forbidden? These were the questions that I asked myself when painting “The Medusa”.
