"Identity" @ Water Street Studios in Batavia Illinois.
The Identity group exhibition explored how identity is shaped—both by our individual experiences and by the shared experiences that connect us. The exhibition encouraged viewers to consider what identity means to them and how it influences the way we think, feel, make decisions, and move forward.
The exhibition ran from June 12 through August 1, 2026, in the relaunched Community Gallery at Water Street Studios in Batavia, Illinois. My painting, Los Hombres No Lloran, was awarded third place and sold during the course of the exhibition.
